Morioka · Iwate · Northern Japan
D'STYLE has been designing, installing and maintaining saunas, wood stoves and pellet stoves in the Tohoku region of northern Japan since 2006. HARVIA authorized dealer for Iwate Prefecture.
Iwate is one of the coldest inhabited regions of Japan. Winter here is long, and heating is not a matter of comfort alone — it decides how a house is lived in for half the year.
We began with wood stoves, and we have installed more than 900 of them. That work taught us fire, flue design, draught, and what fails after ten years in a cold climate. Saunas came from the same knowledge: a stove, a chimney, a room built to hold heat and shed moisture.
We handle the whole of it — survey, design, installation, commissioning and maintenance. We do not sell equipment and leave. In a region where a failed flue in February is a serious matter, the company that installed it should be the one that comes back.
Private home saunas, outdoor and barrel saunas, and commercial sauna rooms for hotels, inns and bathing facilities. Design through to installation, including ventilation and moisture control.
Supply and installation of wood-burning stoves, including flue design and hearth construction. We carry European, North American and Japanese makers, and we service stoves we did not install.
Pellet stove supply, installation and servicing, with fuel delivery in our home region. A practical choice where firewood storage is difficult.
Equipment and installation work for public baths and spa facilities, including cold plunge pools and the plant that keeps them running.
HARVIA, of Muurame, Finland, is the largest sauna heater manufacturer in the world. We are its authorized dealer for Iwate Prefecture, and we install HARVIA equipment across northern Japan.
That means we hold the specifications, the parts and the installation standards — not only the catalogue. Electric heaters, wood-burning heaters, steam generators, control units and complete sauna rooms.
Our HARVIA products, specifications and prices are published in full on our dedicated site.
Stoves are lit in the showroom through the cold season, and the sauna equipment can be seen in person. Visitors are welcome without an appointment, though it helps if you call ahead.
Whether you are planning a sauna, replacing a stove, or trying to work out whether a flue can be routed through an existing building — send us the details and we will tell you what we think.
